I did three different versions of the map of Canada and the United States, and this is the first one completed. I tried to make Canada and USA separatly first, then I tried to integrate Mexico, but none of these gave good results. The only way to get something interesting was to do a map of Canada and the U.S. together... I messed up a little bit with Alaska and the Nunavut, but well, there are 257 people living there, so I guess they won't mind. ;)

As you can see, the US got the butt and Canada the legs, but us, in Québec, we got the beautiful faces. Hé! Hé!

L,idée est excellente, mais pourquoi pas un peu de fumée provenant du cigare sur le Nunavut? Pour l'Alaska, particulièrement les Aléoutiennes, tu aurais faire en sorte que cette bonne grosse madame bien en chaire plisse un peu plus des plus anguleusement, je pense que tu y serais parvenu. Quoiqu'il en soit, cette un belle et originale réalisation :)

Merci! Oui, je suis d'accord avec toi pour le Nunavut et l'Alaska. J'ai fait une autre variante ici: [link] . L'espace est mieux occupé, mais c'est Terre-Neuve qui est laissée pour compte. Dans ce cas, j'aurais dû mettre une cigarette dans la main de la blonde: Terre-neuve serait la fumée. Enfin, j'ai préféré ne pas mettre cette autre version dans le groupe; je me suis dit que ça passerait un peu moins bien...

Got here via [link] wanted to share my delight at this coincidence: Just yesterday, I found some 18th century "whimsical sketch" and caricature maps in a book I bought ages ago and never opened. Love that you have updated the concept! Thanks.
